WAY TO GO, SPARTY!

The Paul Bunyan Trophy stays right where it belongs! What a convincing win for the Green and White: MSU 34 the other team from our state 17. Wow! Three in a row over that other team. So much for that whole "little brother" nonsense. :) It doesn't get much better than this! GO GREEN! GO WHITE!

I watched quite a bit of the game to root for Sparty in your honor and that of Dennis Peskey as well. Congrats! Get ready. The Cornhuskers will soon be coming to town.

Thanks, Scott! And, yes, I am a little nervous about those 'Huskers joining the Big Ten. Those boys is tough! But, I am excited at the same time, since it will just make our conference all the stronger. It should be interesting, for sure.

Great game wasn't it. I thought it interesting that one of the TV guys talked about how over-rated the Wolverines are and that the Spartans are the real deal. I know some UM fans that are still in shock.

What is a "cornhusker?" Here in Saint Johns, MI we use John Deere (not to be confused with St. John.)
Peace,
Dennis

You'll find out what a Cornhusker is soon enough Dennis!

Well, I can't argue with the score. Congratulations, my Spartan Lutheran friends. But at least the new USNWR rankings of World's Best Universities is some consolation- they rank Michigan out at #15 and MSU at #207.

I heard the line, "Edwin Baker, touchdown maker!" used by an ESPN guy during the highlights on Saturday night. I suppose it will be seen emblazoned on a few banners throughout the rest of the season, along with POUND GREEN, POUND! I love both phrases. I'm so sad that I didn't get a chance to see the game, but I've heard it was one of the most convincing wins by the Spartans in a while. Extra sweet because it was against the other Ann Arbor school that is not Concordia.
