Morgan and Marissa posing with "Big Lug"
Cinderella and company leading the "chicken dance"
The "Potter Park Zoo" had an exhibit in the mezzanine - Don't think I've ever seen an armadillo up close like this.
This little fella entertained us by pushing that red ball around - pretty neat to watch!
A milk snake the kids enjoyed touching - NOT ME!
Larry and Ben waiting in line to run the bases after the game
And there they go . . .
Carolyn (the one looking up at us), who made all the arrangements for the day - thanks, Carolyn!

BTW Pastor did you know that Armidillos are used in leprosy research? They are carriers of the microbe that causes leprosy. Thought that might be of interest to everyone as leprosy is a topic of Biblical proportion.
David,
In the words of Johnny Carson, "I did not know that." Interesting, indeed!
Now, Pastor Messer, I would think Alma to be solidly in Loons territory.
As I sat through the double header at Dow Diamond last Friday, it occurred to me that it would be a great outing for the why-haven't-we-formed-it-yet Great Lakes Bay BJS chapter next season.
Of course, I can't promise any armidillos, leprous or clean.
Jon,
Lugnuts or Loons? Is there a difference? :)
I'm all for the outing you mention, though. Once y'all establish that BJS Chapter, maybe some of us in the yet-to-be-formed Mid-Michigan BJS Chapter can join you for the event! :)
